Pharmacies are revising their pediatric safety practices based on recent updates to the Key Potentially Inappropriate Drugs (KIDs) list.
This is the first revision since the initial KIDs list came out in 2020. Review notable changes to help improve pediatric care.
Additions. Be aware that montelukast has a higher risk of sleep disturbances in kids under 18 versus adults. But you may still see it used for asthma...the quality of evidence on this side effect is very low.
